AWESOME SCHOOL !! YOU HAVE TO GO HERE ! 6/20/2011

This school is amazing, I love everything about it. Both my kids having been going here for the last 3 years and my eldest son is about to go into the kindergarten program, and we have a friend's son that goes to another school that is also about to go into the program, however my son knows so much more than him. Being at this school really prepared him. I love the new Director ... she really has turned things around at the school the previous Directors were too loud and over excited...my hat goes off to the new Director and her team, outstanding turn around of the school, it is a pleasure walking in there everyday and dropping my kids off. Thank you for loving and taking care of my kids when i can't (and potty training) ! Amazing Team at this school !!! more

Great School Great Staff 12/27/2010

We love and embrace the school and the changes that were made because we see MAJOR improvements in the staff, quality of care and attention paid to each classroom. The staff seems very happy and friendly to each other, the parents and they LOVE the children! The new owner is there which was not the case with the previous owner that we NEVER saw. As a manager I know my staff's work performance is better when I am in the office and sometimes not at the same level if I am out for long periods (when the cat is away....). I love the school and I hear a few people complain about having to pay when they didn't have to pay before and I just wonder what did I miss because we always pay and thought everyone else did! To the complainers you have to admit that the school is run much better, the teaching staff is on top of their game and our children are being loved. I read ""Never Again"" and ""Let The Teachers Teach"" and it just sounds to me that someone didn't get their way about something. My child has attended summer camp for years and I thing the quality of the camp program was better than before. The children did about 3 away fieldtrips per week, every week and the school brought in-house field trips on other days. When looking at a summer camps look at the locations and see if they are just going to a local playground or taking a tours of a local parks or if they have a LEARNING experience along with fieldtrips. You should want your childs mind stimulated over the summer and if you do, then you would value the difference between Primrose and Legacy and realize that you can not compare the two. Never again! 12/14/2010

My family had been long-time praisers of this school as we had been a loyal Primrose family for almost 8 years. Between our children, we had experienced the school from infancy through Private Kindergarten. We absolutely LOVED this school until ownership changed hands last year. Then everything began to go downhill. The overall feel of the school changed from being extremely warm and child-friendly to cold and sterile. The new owners have a strong business background but childcare is not just about business. It should be about the children and the families who have entrusted their children to you. I need to know that my children are in a fun, safe, educational environment where they are valued as more than just a paycheck. The last straw for us was when they introduced the summer camp program which was so pitiful in comparison to previous years. A lot of the ""field trips"" were cheesy, in-house field trips. We left and went to Legacy Academy where my children went on lots of exciting trips for less than they were charging at Primrose. Soon after we left, many other veteran Primrose families also left discouraged, and soon many of the staff began leaving as well. Not a great sign when many of the families and staff begin to bail out. I cannot speak as to the quality of the new staff or the mood of the school since we've left, but I know that I would never take my children to this school again. And while I used to happily refer family and friends to this once amazing school, now I would warn people to REALLY take a close look before committing to sending your children here. more

My kid loves it! 10/10/2010

My kid really loves his pre-K teacher and is excited about school everyday. I was worried because I was returning to work and this would be his first time away from me and home. But he can't wait to tell me about his day each day and loves to show me what he wrote, colored, played, etc. I feel great when I pick him up. I love the fact the staff doesn't get upset when I call 3-4 times a day to see how he is doing. They managed to keep his worried sometimes feeling guilty mom from worrying too much - and even pacify his grandmother too when she calls. Thanks Primrose Lawrenceville North staff! more

Great school! Why isn't your kid here? 10/10/2010

In response to ""getby"" with Let the Teacher's teach review: It's true there has been some attrition but get your facts straight. Those teachers QUIT because they couldn't deal with change under the new owners. Anytime staff has been allowed to do pretty much what they wanted to do and not follow the policies and procedures of the company, you will find that they don't stick around when the polices and procedures start being enforced. more

Satisfied Parent 9/28/2010

We have been at this school for a long time. My family is very happy with the changes and the new owners. I have recently referred this school to several families that have enrolled and have been extremely pleased with the care given to their children. I will continue recommending this school to anyone searching for care and a great education. My interactions with the management team have all been very pleasant. They have exhibited professionalism and a desire to make everyone feel right at home. There are new teachers and I found them to be a great asset to the school. My family and those referred by me are sufficiently pleased. Keep up the good job!!! more

Let the teachers teach! 9/25/2010

I had child to graduate from this school last year. Teacher was PHENOMINIAL in Private Pre K with all 18 children, and had a great Assistant too! My child loved them and could not wait to go to school each day! But now I would not recommend anyone to visit let alone put your child there. The environment has changed dramatically from the best to the worst child environment I have ever seen. Very cold, sterile and not child friendly. And teachers are not as excited about being there. I took my 2nd child out because they let the experienced teachers go or fired them. Both Directors are rude and uneducated, and send out ridiculous emails with typos throughout the newsletters. How Professional ! They have no clue as to the hard work the teachers do each day. You are not recoginzed as parents when you check your child in or they call your child the wrong name. The owners are new and blindsided by the lies the Directors are telling them daily about the school, the well being to the staff and students . I guess money and illiterate Directors who can push papers is more important than keeping a great staff of teachers who did their jobs the PAST 3 years before the school was sold. I hate the fact that each day we as parents are not aware as to what is going on with their children behind those doors. Emailing pictures of one happy event is not a true depiction of a childs day. In one classroom students are out of control daily with two teachers who appear to be so inexperienced with that age group, have no enthusiasm and appear to have no experience with Primrose material and poor classroom managenent. more
