This school offers good curriculum, office is very friendly, but too many teachers have replaced or left in short term. Most infants are called by nicknames in the classroom. We were shocked to find that they use their nickname, not the one we asked them to call. When parents walk in, they call the name, but once parents are gone, they use nickname, it was sad to see. We began our search for a daycare for our daughter a couple of months before she was born. As first time parents, the thought of leaving your child with strangers for a lengthy period of time was quite overwhelming! We interviewed several places including other Primrose schools in our desired location and upon entering Primrose Firewheel, knew that it would be the school for our baby girl. Nothing compares! We were welcomed with smiling faces and a clean environment. Not only were we given a tour, but we were able to discuss the things that were important to us and quickly realized our needs would be met here. Primrose Firewheel dedicated their time to us that day and each day since. We left there knowing that our daughter would be safe, loved, taken care of, and educated. That feeling is priceless! The exceptional care has continued. We could not have asked for better people to take care of our sweet girl. Her teachers are wonderful! Our daughter has been enrolled since January and thrives there. She smiles and kicks her feet when we ask her if she is ready to go to school! As parents, we love that there is a curriculum for all students, even those as young as our daughter. People laugh when we talk about what our daughter did at “school” and will then question, “School?” Yes, Primrose Firewheel is exactly that; a school, not just a daycare. We are so happy to be a part of the Primrose Family. I knew instantly when I walked in the door that I found the right place for my child. The atmosphere is caring and friendly. My child loves the teachers and all of the activities that are available. In addition to the excellent education curriculum, they provide extracurricular activities such as music, stretch -n-grow, dance and piano. I know she will be well-prepared for kindergarten based on the skills she has been taught at Primrose. Finally, the administration goes above and beyond the call of duty. When the public schools were closed for almost an entire week, Primrose of Firewheel opened on the weekend to let the parents make up the time we lost at work during the week.
