Every day we see the results of the time our daughter spends at Primrose– her vocabulary, curiosity, and eagerness to learn. As educators, my husband and I are very appreciative of the time and effort that Primrose has put forth to ensure the success of every child as an individual. I cannot tell you how much it puts our mind and hearts at ease to know that when we are at work she is getting an excellent education in a warm and inviting environment! \r \r more

Primrose of Allen is fantastic! We have been in a couple of different facilities and the people are what matter! There is very little turnover in staff and the front desk staff is remarkable. My kids absolutley love going to ""school"" every day. The facility is always clean and inviting. Someone is always at the front door to help us get our kids in and out of the car. We couldn’t be happier with Primrose of West Allen. We started our older son there when he was a year old; now he’s turned into a bright, energetic, friendly, well-mannered six-year-old who was socialized and prepared to handle kindergarten the day he started. There’s no question Primrose had a hand in setting him down the right path. Our younger son has gone there since he was just a few months old, and we’re seeing the same development path in him. The Primrose staff is highly professional, caring and personable. And the curriculum is exactly as Primrose claims … a great balance of childcare, education and fun. more

We have had the best experience moving our daughter from another preschool in West Allen over to Primrose. She absolutely loves it! The teachers are so personable, caring, and patient with the kids... and as a working mom, it feels great knowing your child is learning, but also having fun while you are away. We have been members of the Primrose School of West Allen family for over 6 years now. And yes, it's like a family. The teachers and staff at Primrose truly care about our children. The guilt of being a working Mom can be very overwhelming at times. But when I drop them off in the morning I know they are in the absolute best hands and I don't have to worry that they won't be cared for. Not only do the teachers and staff truly love my children, they work so hard to make sure they are receiving the best education and social interaction and knowledge possible. This is vital for all young children and has given my son the absolute best start to ""big"" school he could have. I can't say enough about this school and the owners. I discovered Primrose 4 years ago. My son was in a private preschool in Richardson and my family had to leave Texas for a few months unexpectedly. When we returned, I was unable to obtain my son's spot back at his former preschool. With the fundamentals of what I desired in a preschool at the top of my mind, I was led to Primrose of West Allen. \r \r The curriculum is strong and the environment reflects one of care from the moment you drop your child off in the morning. One night I was reading a counting book with my 3 year old son and as we begin to read in English, he stopped me in my tracks and began referencing the numbers on his own in Spanish. Wow!!!! That's what the Primrose experience is all about.\r \r My oldest son is in 1st grade now and often ask during the holiday break to return to the school to visit his former teachers. We moved to Allen 2 years ago. We had our girls in a Primrose in Richardson, so we were very familiar with the top notch curriculum and had hoped the transition would be easy for the kids.\r \r The teachers took an immediate liking to the girls - helped them adjust, let them help in the classroom, etc.. to make them feel welcome and important.\r \r The teachers develop caring bonds with our children and make them feel important, welcome and loved. My youngest daughter begged me to take her up to school to see her pre-school teacher on our Christmas vacation, since she had missed her so much.\r \r Our oldest daughter started Kindergarten ahead of her peers - I attribute this to Primrose. more

We have been using Primrose of West Allen since our first baby and that was 8 years ago. We now have his younger sibling there and still love the school. The teachers and staff are dedicated to the kids. There is so much for the kids to do at every level. The babies don't just sit in high chairs the teachers engage them and sing to them, the preschoolers don't just have recess they have centers and this is seen right up to the after school kids where they have homework time. We began our search early in the summer last year. The owner gave us a tour and answered all of our questions. Later that week, the director contacted us to help answer any additional questions we might have. We found Primrose West Allen to be the right place for us and started our girls in August 2010. We love the facility for so many reasons. The staff is incredible!!! The teachers and directors are so open to discuss any needs or issues. The open door policy is amazing – unlike most preschools. We love that learning is the focus rather than babysitting… It is a school that teaches and nurtures. We have our girls in the kindergarten program and the young toddler program. We have and will continue to recommend Primrose West Allen to any parents searching for a really strong learning and caring environment for their children. more

In November 2009, I began looking for a closer school for my daughter to attend. She had started out in a daycare and was transferred to Primrose to have a more learning environment. I was pleased with the Primrose schools system and knew I wanted her to stay in, but needed to change schools. I looked at the Primrose West Allen and had the easiest transition possible. The staff was very friendly and the school was clean, just as I expected. We transferred her to Primrose West Allen and it was the best choice I could have made for my daughter. The first day she was there, I was sent an email of her playing on the playground smiling. It was nice to know that they took the time to send me an email to show me she was having a good day and doing just fine. The rooms are filled with supplies that the teachers use for projects!! I am greeted every morning at the door by a staff member and the teachers are very cheerful. I am very pleased and impressed with the weekly emails that have updates on what is the plan for the week as well as emails with pictures of the class involved in certain things. We have fun looking at those as a family and my daughter getting to see pictures of herself and her friends. It is appreciated!! There have been two occasions where my daughter has started singing songs at home, one in Spanish, that she learned at school. It is good to know that what they are doing in school is being reinforced enough for her to bring the concepts, songs, etc home. I would highly recommend PRIMROSE WEST ALLEN to any parent looking for a school for their child. You will be pleased!!! more

Primrose of West Allen is so much more than a daycare or preschool. They are a part of our family. We’ve trusted our children with the caring staff of Primrose for over 5 years and have been so pleased with the attention and love our kids have received over the years. From the weekly email updates, to the handwritten notes, we always know what our daughter is accomplishing. The teachers, directors, and owners all take a special interest in not just our daughter, but our whole family. I have to admit, there was a brief time where we left Primrose for a brand new child care facility. There was absolutely no comparison. Within 3 days, we were right back at Primrose where we belong! more

We had our 2.5 year old at a traditional daycare. We began to be displeased with the lack of learning agenda and subsequently transferred her to Primrose where we have watched her blossom. Everyday she comes home with new conversation topics and states, very matter of factly new learning topics. Her spanish vocabulary is growing almost as quickly as her English vocabulary and she has perfect pronounciation. She comes home happy yet tired. The curriculum is well-balanced and allows for educational and well as play time. We have been very pleased with the results and are enrolling our infant in February. more

We moved from a small town, where I watched my daughter primarily, to a more urban city, and needed to locate a daycare for my then 4 1/2 yr old daughter, and eventually, my newborn son. It was a no-brainer for my spouse; he already knew about Primose and their reputation; I was the more difficult person to convince. Who could watch my child(ren) as closely, and lovingly as me, their own mother? Primose of West Allen! My daughter started in the Pre-K class and excelled, both academically , and socially. She ""graduated"" and started her Kindergarten year in a public school with more confidence, and security. My son started in the infant room, and immediately fell in love with the teachers (one of which became his 2nd grandmother). We had to remove my son due to a job loss, but we have returned, and my son, again is in love with his new teachers, and he is excelling in many ways, but most of all, socially. When I began looking for a school for my daughter to attend, I was drawn to Primrose due to their excellent private kindergarten program. My daughter was only four, but she was already exhibiting advanced academic skills. Unfortunately, at other schools, she wasn't being challenged which led to her finding her own ""fun"" (which ultimately led to her getting in trouble oftentimes). At Primrose, the curriculum was challenging enough to keep her engaged and presented her the opportunity to grow and mature. When she started kindergarten this year, she was ahead of the game. She was already reading chapter books, doing addition, subtraction, and multiplication, and she was prepared for the social norms present in a school setting. My son continues to attend Primrose and I wouldn't have it any other way. I know he, too, will be well-prepared when he is old enough to attend public school. He loves going to school, and as a parent that has to work, I can't be more thankful. more

My 2 year old daughter started Primrose in September and we've been very impressed. The teachers and staff are always very friendly and seem to really care about her. The school is very clean, secure and I don't sit and worry about her all day. They send emails regularly about the school schedule and seem to keep them very busy. I highly recommend them to all of my friends. Great experience! more

If you are looking for education, care, safety, cleanliness and a family environment then Primrose School of West Allen is your Preschool. Our 2 children attend Primrose and we love the way our children at treated. It is a very loving school and I would recommend this school to any family looking for a Preschool. It is so nice to know that our children are safe, loved and receiving an excellent education. more

I toured many schools in Allen and nothing else compares. Everything is super clean and organized. The teachers and staff are extremely friendly. My son has been going here for 3 years and he has learned so much. They teach sign language early, so he could communicate to me before he could speak in sentences, now he's learning spanish. They have a curriculum and its fun, so its not free play all day. You get emails every week that tells you what is going on in the classroom and school. They even email you pictures of your children. I couldn't imagine my son anywhere else. more

This school just keeps getting better! We have two children attending Primrose of West Allen - for over three year. The programming and cirriculum is second to none, and the staff and teachers are fabulous. Our children love school. But what we love the most is seeing and hearing how they are developing mentally, emotionally and socially under their care and guidance. The management staff is so increcibly helpful and accomodating. The teachers are, well, they are everything teachers should be and then some. Every step, every age, our children have been engaged in learning with teachers who not only care about them and their development, but care about their families, too. Primrose has been the best experience for both my kids. My daughter just finished the Private Kindergarten class and I can tell she is going to have a head start entering elementary school this Fall. Both my kids are excited to go to school in the morning and have great stories to tell me each day when I pick them up. It's a great feeling knowing your kids are loved and taken care of when you drop them off in the mornings. Pros: great staff more

My son has been attending Primrose for over a year now. It's amazing how much quality education he is receiving at this school. We didn't want him in a regular daycare setting that provided no value. This school has taught him so much. All of the teachers and staff members that aren't even in his class know his name and I think that's great. He comes home and sings songs that I don't even know. He's even learning how to count, colors, animals, in spanish! He can get on my computer and tell me what each buttons are and knows how to use the mouse to play games on the internet. My son loves mouse club and Stretch and Grow every Tuesday. Pros: Education Cons: Some disruptive kids more
