I find myself always looking through fashion magazines like Cosmo, Elle, etc... trying to find the hottest new looks and what I want to look like. The problem that I used to always run into is the inability to find a stylist to complete my ""celebrity make-over."" I've been through dozens of stylists that can't do it but say they can, and I've been disappointed more often than not... Then I met MEGAN TRIVETTE who is a new stylist at Primp Salon in South Tampa. She is the absolute best! I felt extremely comfortable that she could make me look how I've always wanted. 1st of all, when I met her I thought she was a celebrity herself. She was right out of one of my magazines! I felt like I was on Entertainment Tonight and I was about to get my hair done by a celebrity. MEGAN shared a striking resemblance to Eva Mendes or Jennifer Lopez. and had the style and personality to match. Throughout my awesome experience I learned that MEGAN TRIVETTE has a wealth of experience working with celebrities such as Cameron Diaz, Penelope Cruz, etc... She also has worked on a variety of movie sets and Victoria Secrets photo shoots. WOW!!! Here I am sitting in the chair of an official Celebrity Stylist right here in Tampa! MEGAN recently moved here from LA and was trained by Paul Mitchell there and Bumble and Bumble in NY. MEGAN also introduced me to an exclusive product line, Kerastase (the Gucci of hair products), which Primp is like the only carrier of, while treating me to the best shampoo job that I've ever had in my entire life! My whole experience was perfect! MEGAN was funny, honest, and very welcoming, and all of those things made me look forward to coming back with regularity. You can't beat it! For the price of a hair-do I felt like I got my own personal image consultant that made look great, as well as feel great! Talk about getting your monies worth... I highly recommend MEGAN TRIVETTE and Primp! Make your appointment quick because she won't be a Tampa secret much longer!!! Someone had told me about this place so I gave it a try!! Pat Noon was Fabulous she colored my hair in a different way then I've ever seen and then to top it off with a haircut to release the beautiful work!!! Bravo Pat, have already booked my next appointment being that she works only 3 days a week and I am sure they book up fast . Very talented and full of ideas and lots of fun!!!! I was going on a cruise in September of 2007 and the stylist I had for 5 years completely and utterly butchered my hair. I had grown my hair back out past my shoulders and wanted to go with a short cut and he cut it so short it was impossible to do anything with it to fix it. A friend of mine from work highly recommended Jason and said no doubt he could work his magic. I gave my hair a few weeks then went to see Jason and WOW you would NEVER had known my hair had been previously butchered. It looked fabulous for my cruise not to mention I didn't feel like walking around with a brown paper bag on my head anymore. He's easy to talk to and can come up with all sorts of ideas. He's creative, artistic, a perfectionist and every time I go in, he always has a fresh idea to tweak my cut so it adds a little something different. Every single time he touches my hair I get compliments galore from people on the street to people at work. He also recently did my color and my boyfriend, of all people, who hates short hair and anything other than brown hair ... said .. O M G you looks SO beautiful. I had heard good things about this place so I decided to give it a try. Three hours later I left traumatized with a frohawk that had orange and pink highlights, all I wanted was a simple haircut. When I managed to get in my car I noticed that the name of the store was Pimp not Primp. Which given the hairstyle and the dress of the employees, as well as the man who was hanging out in front of the place offering to take care of me by becoming his trick, made a lot more sense. Pros: The man outside might give you a job Cons: But it will cost you your dignity more

Primp Salon is a nice facility but what makes it even better is Jason. Jason has been styling my hair for over 3 years now and he has always been great! He knows everything about cut, style, up do's, what products you should use to have the perfect hair do. The thing that I love about him is that he always has the most amazing smile and I'm always greeted with a hug, he's always treated me like family and I appreciate good service from any person I do business with. I would rate Jason a 10!!!!! more

I have been following Jason for awhile now and am very faithful to my hair stylist. I thought it would be hard breaking up with my other hair stylist but, when Jason gives a head massage you are sold and think what was that other persons name. He uses the best products and my hair cuts and styles look amazing for weeks. I recently was married and I had grown my hair for two years and chopped he did the BEST JOB EVER and people don't know which way they like it better. He is exceptional attention to detail and he is so easy and fun to talk too. I makes the whole experience amazing and I would never divorce my hair stylist. I have to say that I have been going to Jason Pritchard for a couple years to get my hair done. He always does an amazing job and I get comments on my hair all the time. He just started doing colour on me and it always turns out awesome. I like to change my style and colour alot and he always makes it HOTT! Pros: you get wine while you get your hair done! :) more

If you are going to Primp you have to get a cut by Jason! He was super friendly, worked with my ideas and what I like, but gave me a fun, unique, easy to style haircut! It has been less then 24 hours and I have had random strangers comment on my hair. The salon is easy going and friendly as well! I will definitely go back to him again! I love PRIMP salon!!! Jason Pritchard is a hair genius. If you don't come to this salon and have your hair done by him, your INSANE! He is very fashion forward and knows how to take any hair type and make it look AMAZING! His color techniques are out of this world and his cutting skills are just the same. He's an awesome stylist and I'm so glad i can call him ""my stylist"". I would recommend EVERYONE to have a ""jason pritchard"" experience, at least once. Once you have him do your hair, you'll never return back to whoever is doing your now at SUPER CUTS or FANTASTIC SAMS. I'm serious. Trust me. I have been to many stylists in my time and none of them can even compare to him. Make an apt w/ him ASAP, you won't regret it. I promise.
