Had to drive a ways to find Primo's as the local places in Downtown Norfolk are closed on Sundays. Once we arrived, I had a few fears when I saw it was in a strip mall, but the outside was nicely decorated. I was pleasantly surprised when I walked into the ""restaurant"" section (vs. the take out side) - the colors were neutral and soothing and the lighting appropriate. We had to ask if we should seat ourselves (we did) as no one approached us to guide us, but to be fair the restaurant was packed and there were only two waitresses. We had to wait to be attended to, but the waitress apologized for the wait and was attentive for the rest of our visit. Her service was friendly, expeditious and efficient. We ordered a half-dozen garlic ""knots"" and a pizza well done, and it came back anything but. We sent it back but it was returned still too underdone for my taste, but we took it. They advertise a thin crust, but it's really a hand-tossed depth. They go a bit light on the pepperoni - I had only one piece of pepperoni per slice, but my dining companion had two or three per slice (one side was heavier than the other). The garlic knots were the best I've ever had and the sodas were sparkling and cold. We gave the soda a 10 out of 10, the garlic knots a 10 out of 10 and the pizza a 5 out of 10. My friend took Cannoli's home and said they were good, too. I'm going to keep looking a thinner crust pizza, but I'd go back there again and try some of their other dishes. A solid 8!
