I have been a patient of Doctor Perez for more than ten years. One of the first things I was taught when it was discovered that I had Type 2 Diabetes was to develop your own health care support team. Dr. Perez is my team captain. If I have a question that she might not know the answer to, she refers me to a specialist who does know the answer. At first I wasn't sure that this was a good idea, but after I thought it through, it is a good way. She knows a galaxy of specialists to provide solutions. In today's complex field of medicine, no single doctor can know all the answers all the time. Dr. Perez knows who can provide those answers.
I feel fortunate to know Dr. Perez. I have the up most respect for her skills as a doctor and my health care team captain.
