I received a very high quote from Prime Vanlines and decide to go with them after reading good reviews about their company. more

I had a very bad experience with Prime van lines. more

This was the first time I moved without any family helping me- the Crew was excellent!!Carlos and his Crew were Very efficient and moved my things with care- not a scratch on anything. The price was firm and stayed as promised. I would highly recommend them and will use them again if I have to move more

Prime cancelled my move 2 days before the pickup due to `over booking? !!!! I paid them $400 down payment and now I am stuck !!!!!!!!! It?s just not fair they decided to cancel my move, I have to 2 days to find another company?and I booked with them a month ago , very mad and disappointed ! more

We had one damaged item, though that was not the concern. The company insisted that they would be sending ONLY their own employees to unpack our things, despite the fact that we had evidence from the driver that they would be hiring workers here. They deliberately lied to us. The people who they hired in were idiots and so unprofessional , and broke a lamp off of the front of our new house. The driver immediately tried to tape (!!) the lamp back onto the house, he was rude and un pleasant. more

I just used Prime for a move cross-country. I could go on and on but I'll sum it up by saying that our stuff arrived 26 days after it was picked up--we were told it would take 5-10 days. We were promised 5 wardrobe boxes. They showed up with one and threw the rest of our hanging clothes in boxes, which arrived in a tangled mess, wrinkled, one dress torn. Everything they packed (pictures/art) was damaged in some way. Every picture frame was dented or scratched. One picture had broken glass, one mirror was broken. Worst of all, a very valuable antique chair arrived with a broken leg and crushed back--the upholstery on the back was torn it was pushed in so hard. Halfway through our stuff being delivered, I noticed 6-7 boxes in the house that were not ours. I had to tell the moving guys about it and they moved them out. While they were unpacking our stuff I noticed them standing on top of someone else's dining room table. I made it clear that anything that said ""bedroom"" on the box should go upstairs and of course that didn't happen. So we had to move most of the stuff upstairs ourselves. Just a really, really bad experience--they did not take good care of our stuff at all. more

I just Used Prime for My Move from the Upper East side to Long Island City,First i would like to Mention Carlos and his Crew that moved me from a 3rd floor no elevator on very very hot day this past July and did excellent job without any attitude or Damages. Sandor the Estimator that came to my apartment for a pre move inspection was very knowledgeable and provided me with a Binding quote that did not changed in the end of the move. All I have to say is that i had a very positive experience moving with Prime, and for my next move i would surely contact Prime. more

The office was friendly with the initial setup. When the actually works came by. We had to remind them as they were leaving to box up the bathroom items and the laundry room. They rushed to do everything but it's not our fault we had a 3 bedroom house. more

Just read the previous review and does not make sense as we can't believe it's the same moving company. We just got our personal belongings delivered by Prime Van Lines to our new home in Paramus, NJ (large 4 bdrm house full) from Atlanta, GA. and would like to say that we only dealt with extreme professionalism and top notch service from start to finish. Everyone we became acquainted with (estimator, customer service, movers) were very polite, helpful and accommodating. The movers worked hard and made sure that none of our valuables as well as our mountain of accumulated family junk were undamaged through the move. Thank you for the great service!! We definitely believe you guys know what you are doing and would like to recommend you to all prospective customers who are looking for a solid and reliable moving company. more

We used the services of Prime Van Lines for a small but difficult move within Forest Hills, i had to move only limited amount of items from my mothers apartment which she lives in for the past 35 years to a asisted living home only 2 blocks away, you can imagine the dificulties with that kind of situation. i called Prime after i did some research and they sent Sandor their inspector to advise me for the price, he was very helpfull with answering all the questions and gave me a guaranteed price.same story with the movers very nice and corteous, wrapped everything and moved everything without any problems.they also helped us carry some items to the dumpster.so i would like to realy recommend this company to anyone looking for a on time,honest service. more

I would like to thank William,Carlos and Diego that came to pack my belogings in New York and did a great job,iam allmost done unpacking and everything looks in good shape.i also would like to thank Mark the sales representative that help me along my move process which lasted allmost three months from the time i made the intial connection with him to make appointment for a in home assesment until my shipment was delivered in TX,i had to store my stuff in storage for 2 months until i was able to move into my new house.all in all great service received my belongings in timely manner without any demages. more

I Moved many times in the past 5 years,from Texas to Ilinois and from there to Minnesota and from there to New Jersey,my last corporate move was from NJ to where iam living at the moment Colombus,OH. more

Great. There were several situations where furniture needed to be moved around tight corners and the movers did a great job in making sure my furniture was not damaged or walls banged. more

Everyone worked hard + efficiently. Didn't think calls from multiple company reps was useful - better if just 1 point of contact. more
