Good: The food was great, the service was outstanding. If I was going to plan a vaction in Cherokee, N.C. I would definatly eat there each day I was there.... personally I choose StockYard Steak House over Granny's Kitchen any day.. Bad: There wasn't nothing I found that I didn't like.. Improvements: More of a varity of sea food out on the bar.. Other: I highly recommend StockYard Steak House to anyone that's passing through, and they're open year around. I think I will be going back there the next time I'm in Cherokee, N.C. Thanks guys you made my visit there most enjoyable... see you guys the next time around.. more

Wonderful Steak Tips 4/13/2006

I love this place, not only are the steaks delicious but the prices are wonderful. Two people can get two entrées, salad, rolls and a trip to the dessert bar for $20! Talk about a great deal. But the food is so good. Most of the time the service is good as well, but not always. This seems to be a problem at most places in Cherokee. Southern hospitality has almost vanished in this area. more
