Prime Scuba can also help you plan your diving and scuba adventures from start to finish. We cater to divers of all levels, as well as their non diving companions and families. We make your vacation dreams become a reality. Our experience with scuba diving goes far beyond the sea.
The essential equipment is what separates SCUBA diving from all other types of diving. The buoyancy compensator helps make your diving smooth and relaxed while forming the backbone of your SCUBA unit. Your regulator allows you to breathe comfortably during your adventure while your cylinder carries enough breathing gas to let you stay down longer than any marine mammal ever dreamed of. Your computer keeps track of your time, depth and deco limits while your octopus is there as a backup for your buddy as well as yourself. In short, it is the Essential Equipment of your SCUBA unit that enables you to become a marine mammal in your own right.
Basic Dive Gear is just that - the minimum equipment that you need to dive comfortably. To enjoy any experience, you need to see what's happening - hence the mask, you need to breath occasionally - hence the snorkel, and you need to be able to get around - hence the fins. Whether you are just the occasional tropical beach vacationer or a hard core technical/cave diver, these basic pieces of equipment are needed by all.
Add on gear is what helps you configure your equipment for whatever specific mission you are diving for. For instance, on a simple tropical water day dive, you would need only a small back up light to peer into the nooks and crannies of the reef. For deep wreck and/or cave penetration, you would want a can light and two back up lights. Add on gear is what helps you adjust to your changing mission needs.
