Great school / day care! Our daughter has attended PPA since February 2012, when she was 10 weeks old. We love her teachers, and know they love our little girl, too. They really invest time and attention with each child. PPA is very clean, well-maintained, and run in a professional yet warm and kind manner. We're very pleased with our choice. There are other child care centers closer to our home and work, but we love Primary Prep! We heartily recommend them! more

She loves it! Our daughter started here at 3months and now 2years later she wakes up every day wanting to go to ""school""! She has grown up with the teachers and her friends and they all know her and greet her each day. We wouldn't have it any other way! more

We started our son at this school when he was 9 months old and absolutely love this place! You can tell the teachers love the children and vice a versa. Same with the administrators. The price paid is well worth the piece of mind knowing your child is in capable hands and that they will grow and learn. Also they have webcams in the rooms so you can watch your child throughout the day, talk about easing the mind of a new parent! more

New Improvements at PPA!!! 5/9/2012

We appreciate all feedback. Primary Prep Academy has undergone major improvements and the school is on its way up! Our owners have invested thousands of dollars on new equipment and training for the teachers. We have a new director who has over 20 years of education experience. Just under six months, the director has increased enrollment by 50 children. Our teachers are very happy and the children are as well. We are also in the process of achieving NAEYC accreditation. We hope that you stop by and see the new and improved Primary Prep Academy!!! more

So so rating for a so so school. 2/27/2012

I've have two children at this school now for 1 year and I feel they haven't learned nearly as much as my neighbors kids, who attend another school. I am making plans to move them out soon. Aside from that, there is alot of hot potato passing and teachers do not want to acknowledge or accept responsibility for basic things. This is a very pretty school, but don't be quick to judge a book by its cover - consider the impact it will have on your child before you make the decision. more

Wonderful Preschool!!! 11/10/2011

I have had three children attend Primary Prep Academy. The teachers here are great. They truly love what they do and it shows with the way they interact with the children. During my children more

No good 10/28/2011

Some teachers at this school care, but one rotten will spoil the bunch. My kid was physically abused by an adult at this school. Nothing much was done about it by the school, they even denied it. The person that did this to my kid is still teaching at this school - identity unknown. more

LOVE this school! 4/6/2011

I am very pleased with the care my son receives at Primary Prep. I am confident he is well taken care all day when I am unable to be with him. The teachers are very loving and the administration is wonderful. This is the loving preschool you are looking for. more

I have to disagree! 3/1/2011

I have to disagree with the other review. I have two children currently at Primary Prep Academy. The changes I see being made are positive ones. The teachers are great and are always willing to help me out when needed. Whenever I have addressed a concern with the director or assistant director, it has been taken care of right away. I would definitely recommend this school to others. My children are very happy to go to school every day. more

downhill fast! 1/8/2011

I had my daughter at Primary Prep from 8/07 to 8/10. I can tell you that while they had some good teachers for those years, most of them up and left when the new ownership took over. They also continuously raised their prices while not increasing their services. Anything I asked for, I never got. For example, after several years there, my daughter was ready for Pe K. I specifically asked for a particular pre-k teacher because I knew her when she was my son's pre k teacher at another school. They specifically didn't put her in that class!!!!!! In the end, they gave me $20 off for the last half a week she was there and I promised them negative internet reviews which I am now delivering on! more

A consistent, caring learning environment -- that exceeded our expectations! 4/20/2007

We were one of the first families to enroll at Primary Prep when they first opened, and were thrilled when their brand new facilty went up around the corner from our home in Marietta. Amost two years later, we decided to move from the 'burbs -- back to the city. I can honestly say that the daycare was the only aspect of the move that was unsettling and sad. The facility itself has a sophisticated check-in/out security system and constant internet monitoring (so you can check on your children at your conveniece). There was almost no lead teacher turnover during our time there, which I've come to appreciate even more after moving our children to their new daycare. Furthermore, our child was much more academically challenged at Primary Prep than he is at our current daycare -- and we paid significantly less at Primary Prep! Each classroom has its own age-appropriate playground, and the facility has an on-site pool for summer swim lessons and play (with a lifeguard, of course). I also was not asked to do constant fundraising or asked to participate in after-hours ""support work"" on behalf of the facility (like the ""playground construction days"" or ""Silent Auctions"" at our current daycare). Primary Prep is also women-owned and operated (by three sisters, their mother, and grandmother). I felt this dynamic positively affected the overall sense of ""family"" that we experienced -- and contributed to how much our son loved going to school. What is unique about Primary Prep is that the facility and curriculum are top-notch and contemporary -- but they still manage to create a supportive and intimate environment of care. Our son still talks about his old teacher (who babysits on occasion) and we realize that it set a high standard of expectation for us as parents & daycare consumers. In short, if the commute to Primary Prep wasn't an hour away from our new jobs/home, we would go back in a heartbeat. Pros: thoughful, planned curriculum; lovely, clean, kid-friendly facility; internet monitoring more

Well Managed, Clean, Lots of Activities for Children 3/28/2007

We've had our first child in Primary Prep since my wife's maternity leave ended and we've been overall very satisfied. There have been issues of course, but you expect that when you have so many children interacting; however, problems have been satisfactorily addressed and life goes on. Pros: cleanliness, activities, family-run Cons: class size more
