I have used Primary Grounds for Fertilization services since 2006. For most of that time they were a good company to work with. In addition to fertilization I used them to take care of my grass while I was away and when I deployed overseas. I did not have any problems till this last summer when they charged me for mowing in August and September when everyone had dead grass due to the drought. They claimed to have come out and trimmed and mowed but there was nothing to trim or mow. My wife was on maternity leave the whole time and she did not see anyone come out and touch our lawn during both months. Also had my mother and her mother stay with her while I was away on business and they did not see them come out one time. The only time my wife did see someone she told them not to mow due to the grass being dead. When I contacted them to resolve the issue I was ignored and never received a call back from anyone at the business. The last bill I saw was from September of 2011 when I told them I would never use their service again. You would think this would have solved them coming out and mowing my nonexistent grass, but it did not. I had to call a couple of more times to get them to stop cutting my grass. I wanted to talk to someone about why I should have to pay for services I did not receive and I did not get any sort of call back. Well today is the first contact I have had since October of last year when I received a past due notice dated 19 December. Did not get anything for almost four months from this company. When I spoke with the owner on the phone he insisted I pay for the mowing. I have paid my balance and filed a complaint with the better business bureau. I would stay as far away from this company unless you want to pay for services you never received.
