I read the two reviews on here, and although I don't know anything about the admin or financial issues, I can say that my daughter had a great time.\r \r She's 17 months, and although I think she would have had more fun if she was 3 or so, it was still SO cool to see her running around in all the different stores/places (e.g. Ralph's, Post Office, Doctor's Office). I think it's such a great idea and really a great learning experience. I'm definitely going to go back when my daughter is a little older. more

What a waste of time and money! 3/19/2009

Having been one of the original CIty 60 members, I helped raise original funds for this museum 10 YEARS AGO. SInce then, I have seen nothing but poor managment and a board who sits back and supports a lost cause. WIll someone please wake up and put a stop to this project or hire a President who is qualified and can actually raise money Until then, this museum will not have my support. Cons: too many to list.... more

Don't support this museum! 2/8/2009

Knowing several people who have worked for Pretend City, I can only warn others not to support this organization. Or if you do....make sure you do your homework. Ask them why it has taken so long to get off the ground? Ask them why so many employees have quit? Ask them where there donations have come from and how much has been borrowed from the bank? Ask them why their President has had over 4 assistants in 2 years! I think if you do your homework, you will agree...this is a bad investment for OC. Cons: Managment more
