Quality! 12/17/2005

This is one of the last great Italian bakeries. It is located in the heart of Cleveland’s Little Italy right near University Circle. Presti’s Bakery has many kinds of baked goods including sweet pastries. One block up the street, on Mayfield Road hill, is a kind of “Presti’s annex” where they make delicious donuts late at night. Walking into the donut shop at 1:00 am and having fresh plain cake donuts right out of the fryer is a treat that you can't find in just any city. The take out sandwiches are also excellent. Parking can be a tough act, especially during dinner and lunch hours. Dine on the sidewalk in summer months. more

Fabulous Italian Bakery 9/12/2005

Presti's is famous in the little Italy neighborhood and beyond for high quality, delicious baked goods at more than reasonable prices. Pepperoni bread that's out of this world, delicious pizza and cookies too. The original location is bare bones - donuts, coffee and assorted breads and pizza. Get what you want and get out. Down the street there is a new, lovely location that's more appropriate for hanging out. Order an espresso and a selection of excellent cookies, take a seat and relax. The espresso is in the running for the best in the city. more
