Best

This course is in a very nice area of the city. It's the nicest public course in SF, but not the nicest in the Bay. It's cool that you can stay in the city - it's just the coolest...

Worst

Overall, a decent course. They have a monopoly as the only quality course in the city and they exploit that. The quality of the greens is not at all consistent with their rates ($...

The UGLIEST and the worst greens in the area per dollar value 9/3/2007

I paid how much to putt on greens that look and roll like the clubhouse parking lot. How can you charge this much knowing that the greens and tee boxes are a joke. Well come to think of it the guy who does the tee boxes is the same guy who does the greens...both have undulation and tons of bumps and bruises. In other words stay away from this course until they get it back in shape. Next year? Pros: Nice layout Cons: THE GREENS ARE HORRIBLE and almost every tee box has a crown more

Disgusted 7/25/2004

That was the worst golf experience i have ever had. nice course but it was overbooked. 3 groups on each hole, greens looking like the surface of the moon from ball marks, cigarette butts on the greens, golf carts running out of power. It all doesn't make for a nice experience. It took 3.5 hours to play the front 9. Going in after 9 to complain and get my money back, i found myself in line with other golfers complaining about the same thing!!! worst $92 i ever spent more

Better than Lincoln.... 9/12/2003

Overall, a decent course. They have a monopoly as the only quality course in the city and they exploit that. The quality of the greens is not at all consistent with their rates ($80+ on the weekends to walk). The pace of play on a Sunday afternoon was dreadful. It was so bad, that many groups picked up their balls and went home after 9 holes. Pros: nice course in SF Cons: too expensive, slow, mediocre greens more

Totally unreasonable people 4/14/2003

Cannot get into all the details of our experience there on a rainy day in 150 words or less, but I will never play this course again or recommend it to anyone. Absolutely no respect for customers, rental clubs were incomplete, GPS on the cart was broken, and the round was ruined before it started. Last time I bring out-of-towners to this course -- it was embarrassing. more

Foggy knoll 10/2/2002

Good course with challenging holes on both sides. Trees can cause a lot of problems and the wind usually blows here all the time. When the fogs sets in this a different course. Pros: parking, practice areas Cons: expensive, windy more

Bless the Army 10/2/2002

Great track. Should be played by every serious golfer once. more
