I love it. We recently moved our mother into the assisted living section of this facility. I stayed with her for about a week to help her unpack & get acclimated. Everyone was very friendly & helpful. They didn't want me to leave & I was beginning to want to stay. It is pricey, as they all are. We found it to be reasonable since our mother had been living in a high end independent living facility (Parc at Piedmont). I will be going back again to visit & expect to find my mother happy as a clam - change at any age is difficult. It is a great relief to us all that our mother will never have to leave this facility as her needs change. She will only change halls & rooms. I wish my retirement was set up so well. more

I would like to retire there 8/15/2006

This campus is what all elder care facilities should apire to. The campus is set up as a progressive care setting. They have independent homes and condominiums all the way to skilled nursing care. It really is set up like a college campus for senior citizens. The homes are in one section and then you dirve around to the condos, then to the assisted living building and then to the skilled nursing. Everyone seemed friendly, however, it seemed to be rather exclusive (re: expensive) so we couldn't even consider it. more

  • Presbyterian Village is a retirement community that offers a range of residential care services for senior citizens. The facility is a spread over an area of more than 60 acres. It provides assisted living and skilled nursing care services. Presbyterian Village has an over 7500-square-foot wellness center that features a heated indoor pool, whirlpool, massage room, tennis courts, and walking and jogging trails. It conducts training sessions for aerobics, stretching and Tai Chi. The facility also provides assistance with the activities of daily living. It additionally offers housekeeping and laundry services and is located in Austell, Ga. Presbyterian Village maintains dining and arts and crafts rooms, a library and courtyard. It has a 30-bed unit that provides treatment to patients who suffer from Alzheimer s disease. The facility organizes several recreational activities that include bingo, shopping trips and music shows. It is a part of Presbyterian Homes of Georgia, which has been operational for more than 50 years and operates several retirement communities in Georgia..
