Caveat emptor! I have been a member of Premier Ladies Fitness for 4 years. I have always frequented the Kettering location. I joined because they had free childcare and I was told that their staff were knowledgeable and could help me attain my goal body. AVOID THIS GYM! At all costs, avoid this gym. I was lied to when I joined. I was told I could end my membership whenever I needed for a small fine and that there were no annual fees. Turns out that if I wanted to end my membership I would have to pay the rest of the contract in full (3 years worth). The annual fee was added after I joined but still applies to me. The women who work there are unprofessional in dress, speech, and attitude. They reek of smoke and eat fast food. They are in much worse shape than I am (I'm not overweight but not toned either, average I guess) and know nothing about the equipment or how to help a woman get fit. Signs posted around the gym have misspelled words and poor punctuation, which has been brought to their attention but never addressed or changed. The turnover at this gym is what is the most glaring proof that this gym should be avoided. Countless managers have been fired and hired. Sales women change weekly- not exaggerating. I have overlooked everything, the horrible paint on the walls, the dirt, the broken down machines, and poor customer service because for the last year I have been working with trainers who were going to help me get back in shape. I finally found one, who -after going through 4 in 6 months because they kept quitting- was everything a trainer should be. Vanessa was young, fit, beautiful, intelligent, knowledgeable, and had the ability to push me harder than I ever thought possible. She had a personality that made me want to work harder for her so I wouldn't disappoint her. Hands down the best trainer I've ever worked with. I've never felt so good after a workout then I did with hers. While on vacation she sent me a text message that she wouldn't be training me any longer. She informed me that she was just fired through a TEXT! Who, in a professional world, fires their employee through a text message? Unbelievable! My blood was boiling. I called the gym to complain. I asked to speak with the manager who fired her and was told that he was the manager of all the gyms and they had ""no way to contact him."" I was told I could leave my contact information with them and they would give it to him the next time he came in. I told her that I didn't believe for a second that she didn't have any way to contact him and had no idea where he was going to be. I cannot stand being lied to. I told her that I would end my membership, and that I would share my opinion of the gym and my experiences over the last four years with the world. My disgust for the gym has been building. This detailed experience is what forced my hand. I would not recommend this gym to anyone, not even to a morbidly obese woman who had to work out to save her life. Spend your money elsewhere. Don't waste it here. To Miss Trish and the daycare staff my boys and I will miss you. You are the only saving grace in that building. Unfortunately, it isn't enough to keep us.
