Feature: Direct Heat Drying
TES- Thermal energy system is the fastest approach to drying. TES using the "Reets Evaporation Method" which forces high volume of heat directly to the water-saturated area, rapidly evaporating the water. 97% of the moisture can be removed from structure, carpet, and pad usually within 2 hours of arrival on the site.
The remaining 3% which used to be removed with the traditional drying method of dehumidifiers and loud noisy air movers which could take 5-7 days. Now with the TES your property is dry in a fraction of the time (typically 30 hours or less). Thus saving you money and inconvenience.
Advantages:
Reducing risk for mold, rot, and decay from prolonged soaking, without the usual demolition, saves labor, replacement costs and repair.
Dry the walls and cavities without removing wall boards.
Frequent Questions:
1) How long will my carpet take to dry? We normally use high heat (230 degrees plus) when we clean carpet which will pump a lot of humidity into a room, so keep the air on and the fans blowing and your carpet should be fairly dry within 4-6 hours depending on the situation.
2) Can I walk on my carpet just after it has been cleaned? You can walk on a freshly cleaned carpet but we don't recommend it unless absolutely necessary, especially if you walk on a wet carpet then step onto a wood or tile floor. That can be slippery and dangerous!
3) How often should my carpets be cleaned? We normally recommend every 6-12 months depending on how heavy the traffic is.
4) I used a home carpet cleaning machine and now my carpet looks worse than before, why is that? This happens quite a bit and the problem with the home machines is that they don't have the power of the commercial equipment and they do not get the entire soap residue out of the carpet so dirt ends up sticking to that soap and ends up looking worse than before.
