Preferred Remodeling did extensive renovations to my house. They are not cheap, but the end result looks amazing. So why did I mark them as Poor-Fair? Because their follow up is horrible. Anytime you do home renovations on a large scale you are bound to come across little things the contractor needs to follow up on after the major work is done. In our case, the bay window they installed needs to be adjusted because it sagged due to gravity. The owner of Preferred Remodeling told me this would happen and promised to come out and attend to this as well as a few other minor things. Getting him back out has proven to be impossible. Calls go unreturned, although he was quick to pick up the phone when I owed him thousands of dollars. For the amount of money we spent, we expect better service.
