I do not recommend Dr Shanker. I am a first time mother with a premature baby that was in the NICU. I have a lot of medical bills to at least 7 different places. I am also going through a temporary financial hardship. I am making a monthly payment to Dr Shanker. He said that my payments were not enough and that I could not bring my baby back there. He wanted an additional $20.00 a month payment. So for an additional $20.00 a month he REFUSED to contine to see my baby. At this time the bill was only $400.00. I have never heard of a DOCTOR refusing to treat a patient much less for something as little as $400.00. I'm very disappointed and I changed doctors.
