Precision Tune Auto Care

I took my car in and it had several problems. I couldn't be happier with the service I received. My car is older and Ford has stopped making some of my car parts and the people at Precision did everything they could to get me the parts as quickly as possible and to get me up and running quickly. We used to be consistent customers with Precision Tune Auto Care years ago and just recently took our car to get an oil change.\r \r Service is decent, not the best prices though. Just recently received a few quotes way over what other places have given me. Waiting area has a stale stench of old cigarettes. \r \r There are coupons though that come out on website in addition to penny saver and other ads which help. more

Searching for a mechanic can be extremely difficult. I go into it expecting the mechanic to tell me everything that's wrong with my car and ask me for thousands of dollars to repair it. At Precision Tune Auto Care in El Cajon I have always felt that repair estimates were honest and reasonable. The service on my vehicles is excellent. I had brakes done on my Honda Civic a couple years ago and they still don't squeak. I don't have enough good stuff to say. more

I am a college student, I drive a 1998 Ford Explorer, my check engine light came on, i drove to Precision Tune In El Cajon, they told me it would be 90 dollars to diagnose the problem, after a couple of hours i got a call saying that the vacuum line was disconnected, they plugged in the vacuum line and cleared the check engine light, they did not charge me the 90 dollar diagnostic and to connect the vacuum line. As i went in there to pick up my car all they told me was thank you for coming in and hope to see you as a customer in the near future. i have recommended this shop to my friends and family, and now there all customers of this shop. As a college student i did not get taken advantage of. and I'm really thankful i came along a shop that takes care of the cars and customers as well. more

I went to this repair shop and was amazed at the service they provided me. As a young woman, i feel ladies like me are targeted for quick sales, but i did not feel targeted by them at all. when inspecting my car they took me out and showed me what i needed. they even let me take my parts home. i thought this was a way to prove their honesty. there is no doubt that i will return to them for all my needs and will refer everyone i know! more

I have been going to Ptune of El Cajon for 4 years and love it! I have had pretty much everything done to my car...oil change, new tires, etc and have always been satisfied. They even gave me personal shuttle service when my car was gonna need alot of work!!! They never push a sale, they just recommend. You say no and they move on. I am a college student on a tight budget and they always work with me. Pros: Good prices, One stop shop Cons: none more

this place is ok to go for an oil change.the parking is a bear as the lot is small.they do charge you for things that other places dont so watch out for that. more
