In May of 2010, I took my KIA Sedona to the Precision Tune in Douglasville to have the air conditioning repaired. They informed me the compressor needed to be replaced and I spent over $700 to have to replaced. I was told this cost warrantied the parts and labor for 1 year. About 2 months the air stopped working again. Unfortunately I have to have my car to get back in forth to work and had to wait until I could borrow someones car to get mine into the shop. Driving in the miserable heat the whole time, waiting. I dropped it off last night and now Scott is telling me its going to cost another $400+ to get it repaired because some a/c line needs to be replaced and that wasn't covered under the intial a/c repairs. I'm sure that if the correct procedures had been followed the first time and all lines and hoses checked they would have found that this line was leaking back then too and it should have been fixed with the intial visit! I would not recommend Precision Tune, nor will I ever ret more

They have an oil change special on Wednesdays to lur in the suckers. They gave me a list of things my car "supposedly needed" and even produced a filthy air conditioning filter to get me to buy into their scam. When I challenged them on a few things they left a crushed soda can under my hood to rattle around.\r \r They are theives! STAY AWAY! more

Even though Douglasville is a bit of a drive for most people in Metro Atlanta for car repair, I find it worth the trip. The staff is honest and upfront. If you think your car needs a part that it doesn't need, they will tell you so. If you need something they can't handle, they will tell you. All the work is warrantied for 12 months or 12,000 miles, and that's not easy to find these days. PROS: honest, knowldegable, warrantied work CONS: Inconvenient location if you don't happen to live in Douglasville more
