Un-needed and undone repairs 4/26/2011

If I could do zero starts I would have. I took my car in for oil change and alignment. They changed the oil but didn't do the usual lube with it. The owner told me he couldn't complete an alignment because I had a bad tie rod, he gave me an estimate of $267 to repair it. I decided to take it to my regular mechanic who told me that they didn't do the lube and couldn't find a bad tie rod. Watch yourself- the owner professed how honest he was when he showed me the estimate. more
