Precious Possessions Preschool

My children attend Precious Possessions and we love it! My daughter is in Pre-K and my little boy is in the Toddler Room. As soon as you walk in, you and your children are greeted by name. The teachers are very loving and nurturing. The Pre-K is outstanding! My daughter has learned so much this year. I really can't say enough about what a wonderful place this is - my children would not go anywhere else. Oh, and I forgot to mention, they have internet cameras in each room so you can watch your children from anywhere. I can even access them on my smartphone. You not only can tell by the way your children look forward to going that it is a wonderful place, but you can see for yourself how engaged the children are and how they are truly being cared for every minute. more

I would HIGHLY recommend that you take your children somewhere else. There were two incidents with my child telling me that the teacher was saying inappropriate things and put her hands on my child. I approached the teacher and she acted as if she did nothing wrong. The director made herself unavailable and when I finally got the owner, she was DISMISSIVE, had an attitude and didn't want to be bothered. She completely ignored the situation and raised her voice. Not only is this UNPROFFESSIONAL, the staff was VERY RUDE and CARELESS. Don't let this be you more

My children love it! The Summer Kids Camp is great - they go on at least 3 field trips a week, the kids are always doing something, and my kids really look forward to going every day. The staff are wonderful and they really take an interest in the children. You see them interacting and talking to them about everything. They have already gone horseback riding, to Lake Winnie, bowling, to Tellus Science Museum, swimming each week, Putt-Putt golf, Chattanooga Lookouts game - you name it and they have done it! I knew from the moment I first walked into Precious Possessions that this was where I was going to bring my child. This daycare is clean and the teachers really care about their jobs and my child. It really has become more than just a daycare to me and my little girl - they have become like family. Just this past weekend, they had a Halloween Carnival for the children. Each room had games and activities for the children to do. The teachers had decorated each room so cute and everyone was so excited to see the children dressed in their costumes. They took pictures, gave the children candy and prizes, and had a cake walk. They even had hot dogs, chips, and drinks for everbody. They did all of this so the little ones would have a good time. I know it took alot of effort on their part and we had a really good time! The only thing they asked was that you bring in canned goods that could be donated to Providence Ministries. I have two children at Precious Possessions and it is a wonderful place! The teachers are warm and caring. They know every little detail of what my children have done that day and my children love them. Every day my children are engaged and learning something new. Compared to other children at church or some of my friends children, my children know so much more and are much more confident in social situations. They never have a problem taking part in any activity and it is easy for them to make friends. I think this is because they are at Precious Possessions and are learning so much. I just can't tell you what a wonderful job they are doing and I want to thank them for what they do for my little ones! My son has been at Precious Possessions since he was 6 months old and he has loved it. He has friends he looks forward to seeing every day and he doesn't want to leave when I get there to pick him up. He is learning alot, too. He is in the 2 year old room and his teacher is great! I really like it that every time I drop him off, pick him up, or look on the internet he is doing something and having fun. They are always giving us stuff to do at home and bring in to show the class. I would reccommend them to anyone! more

My 3 year old son attends Precious Possessions and we love it! The teachers are very friendly and they keep the children actively engaged. His class just finished a science activity where each child was given a jar to take home, collect an insect (dead) and seal it in the jar, and then bring it back to class and identify it. Needless to say, he thought it was the coolest thing ever! It was right up his alley. They are always doing things like that, too. They always have a project going to teach them something. I have had two boys attend Precious Possessions and I have absolutely loved it! They really prepare them well for kindergarten - both of my boys were reading before they went to ""big school."" The staff are well trained and they do not have very much turnover. The rooms are beautiful, have lots of materials, and it is so very clean! It has really been a good experience for my family. I love the internet cameras! I am able to watch my children while I work. That's a peace of mind you don't get anywhere else. To be able to see exactly what's going on and know that my children are happy and safe is priceless! The Center is very clean, the staff are friendly and professional, and you really do feel like they become part of your family. I mean, that is exactly what you should expect, isn't it? Precious Possessions is not just a babysitting service, either. The children are actively engaged and learning all the time. I wouldn't keep my children anywhere else! Also, they just received an ALL EXCEEDS ratings on their state report card for their 3 Pre-K classes, too. According to the letter they have posted from the state, only 28% of all Pre-K classes statewide get this honor -- so you know that they are one of the best Pre-K providers in the state. We had our daughter at this so called school for a good bit of time. Worse decision we ever made on a ""school"" for our daughter. These people will TRY to ruin your life. The people who are suppose to be certified to watch these poor children let the kids run around outside (which is normal). Now, let me tell you what is NOT normal! more
