I have to say I HIGHLY recommend this place if you are looking for your kids to get a solid Christian foundation and want to have your kids prepared for Kindergarten. more

Precious childcare has a very welcoming atmosphere for your child. Their individual teachers and caretakers are excellent. They took great care of our then 20mo old for two weeks and We had no complaints of any kind. Our child cried a lot due to separation anxiety and their care takers were patient and soothing to help him adjust. Unfortunately, he got sick from two different types of rhino virus during the two weeks he attended and we had to pull him out for the third week when he lost a full pound. Being this weak caused him to get all kinds of secondary infections and next thing We knew he was being treated for meningitis. We called to cancel during that third week, but had to pay for the full month as per the terms of the contract. Keep this in mind when you enroll your child. They have no provisions for unforeseeable cancelations and they will make no exceptions under any circumstances. more

i love that our children attend this daycare and preschool but it would be nice if the teachers would communicate more with each other. I had told a few staff members important information and then later find out none of it had been communicated with the other staff members who also attend to my child. it would be helpful to have reports on their individual behavior and learning curve, potty training and/or eating habits monthly or weekly or any concerns or information they have regarding each child. I do not know a few of the staff's names, so it's hard to communicate with the staff about who I had spoke with about a concern. Pros: lovely staff Cons: not communicating between staff more

I could not be happier with the service at Precious Childcare. With the ecomony the way it is, I was forced back into the work place. I never intended to put my babies in childcare, but didn't really know how else to make it. My daughter was only a year old when we started and I was scared to death. My daughter's teacher is phenomenal and was so patient with my precious as she adjusted to her new environment. My son loved school from day one. He had been delayed in speech and has pregressed tremendously in his time here. I don't trust just anyone with my precious ones, but PCCP teachers and administration truly love my kids. I just happen to find this site, I don't recall a letter being sent home to respond but after reading the comments I felt I needed to respond. I've had various members of my family be a part of this daycare for many many years. The only time I had to find other care was when they were't able to offer infant care, but now they do. The environment is clean and safe and I love having the fire dept. next store. The teachers have all had extensive training, and are good with the kids very patient I might add as I know my child is very strong willed. I've always felt I could talk to the past and present Directors and Board members and feel very comfortable talking with them about any concerns that I may have knowing that they will listen, give guidance and address issues. I really want to stress that they have a wonderful preschool program here. I've always been very impressed at how young they start teaching the kids abc's and 123's at such an early age. The kids already know them before most kids actually start preschool. My other children were more then ready when it came time to start kindergarten and they were well ahead of the rest of the class. So if you ask me if I would reccomend this place I would say of course I do. I wouldn't trust my kids with just anyone. I'm very sadden to hear that others didn't have the same experience. You just have to wonder if those are the folks that tend to have the same type of experiences where ever they go. You really can't get a feel for a place unless you come check it out yourself which is what any person would do when it comes to finding quality care for their children. more

My two children have been going there part time since my 5 year old was a toddler. I have found the teachers there to be personable, kind, attentive and loving. My daughter enjoys the preschool program there, she has learned so much and loves all the art projects they do. Because we are only there part time, my toddler son is sometimes apprehensive to leave me and go in, but his teacher is right there with open arms and a big smile. He goes to her and is happy for the rest of the day! Sometimes when I go to pick them up, they don't even want to go home, so that is a good sign right there! Our son has been attending Precious for 2.5 years. Our daughter has been attending Precious for 1 year. We have had a positive experience and feel their care is very good. The preschool teachers are great. Our son has been learning a lot to prepare him for kindergarten this September. more

I think this is an awesome environment for my pre-K son. They have a Kindergarten curriculum and since he started one year ago, he has learned to read, write and do simple addition among other things. His teacher is an actual certified teacher. They also have before and after school care for kindergarten, and they assist the kids on and off the bus. I have some concerns for my younger son, and although I favor sites like this, I think it is completely inappropriate to post negative comments without taking the issue to the director and then to the board, and attempting resolution there before making complaints here. Pros: ACTUAL teacher, hours 6:30A-6:30P, lots of staff so no sick days, Great playground Cons: Must communicate your concerns to director directly, who is only available during business hours when you are at work. more

The Letter: Yes, we were given a letter notifying us that negative comments had been made online and asking that we report our positive experiences to counteract their impact. I don't see any problem with them letting us know that this was happening, and I seriously doubt that anyone who disliked the care their child was receiving would somehow be moved to defend the place. Think about it: If someone lit a fire and all of us agreed with how horrible things were, that's what you'd be reading here. What possible motivation would a disgruntled parent have to get online, register for an account, and then write a sunshine-filled lie? OK - I have read the whole range of postings here. Over the last 9 years I have interviewed well over 45 daycares in the OC, CA and in the Lynnwood, WA area. So needless to say I have seen it all. Precious Childcare and Preschool is by far the best child care I could ever hope for to give my child... I recently adopted a child abroad and I think that this child care that she is receiving at Precious Childcare has helped her get to where she is now...She has completely adjusted! Since enrolling her there I have noticed HUGE positive changed in her motor skills, social skills, language skills, creative skills! This is an amazing place! I am so grateful for all the special care she gets there every day.... more

I am a relatively ""new"" parent at PCCP compared to some of the other posts (my daughter has only been there a year) but I am happy to say that this facility is wonderful and my daughter and I both love everything about it. Pros: Loving Staff, Good Learning Environment, Flexible Cons: None! more

Precious Childcare is TOPs!! I am a working mom of 3 children. For the last 2 plus years -- I've had at least two of my children attending Precious Childcare full-time. This facility has been a blessing to my family -- my children are taught respect and kindness every day. My children understand that there is a time for fun and a time for learning. This facility has the BEST staff. Many of the teachers are currently studying early childhood education. I have paid for childcare for the last 8 years -- and Precious CC is the only facility where I've received such a fair payment structure -- if we're on vacation -- we don't have to pay for that week. Plus our payments include extremely nutritious snacks and meals. My kids do school work and fantastic art and science projects on a daily basis. The staff is respectful of each other, the parents, and the children. WE LOVE PRECIOUS CHILDCARE -- and feel comfortable recommending it to any of our friends-- and the general public. My children's time at Precious Childcare has been incredible. My daughter started in the toddler room at 14 months. She was crawling and very high maintance as she had never been away from Mommy before. The teachers were so wonderfully patient with her. She, as well as the other toddlers, were given lots of attention and the teachers even ""walked laps"" around the classroom with her, holding her little hands as she learned to walk. My son started at 3 years old in the preschool program and although he wasn't as high maintance as his litte sister he too had never been away from me and was quite emotional at first. The teachers were very understanding and showed him love and helped him cope with the seperation. Within 2 weeks, both kids were adjusted and excited for daycare. They have been attending now for almost five years and I have nothing negative to say about any of the staff or director. The staff is absolutely wonderful and very loving, generous with hugs and attention. Academics are stressed in the preschool program and the five year old class is structured much like a kindergarten class. My son learned to read in the class and is now the best reader in his first grade class. The children are taught the Bible every day in all the classes, they sing together, create works of art each day, and are learning much more than just reading and writing. I have never been wary of the security there, there are cameras at all the entrances as well as the infant room and ID's are ALWAYS checked from my observations. The daycare offers an exciting summer program including field trips that my son can not wait for. I have and will continue to recommend Precious Child Care and Preschool to any parent. p.s. As a side not, part of the reason the mother may have recieved so many ""incident/accident"" reports for her twins can be attributed to the fact that the staff documents EVERYTHING in writing which shows the attention they pay and how well parents are informed! Goods- Great play areas inside and out. Current staff is friendly and positive, my child has very much come to adore a lot of the CURRENT staff. Very much a Christian enviorment, I know that my child is being cared for by staff that loves God and is teaching him the principals that I want to be taught. I am thrilled to say I think I have found another child care facility!! No more mysterious accidents, no more missing clothing or blankets, and no more problems! Parents...please be warned of Precious Childcare, they are anything but a Christian facility and most of these good posts have been written only because a letter was sent home with our children asking us to please please write good things. Time will determine all, and parents are bound to find out the truth about this facility. Once again, good luck parents :) more

I've had my three children in this daycare since my oldest who is now 9, was only a year old. They have always loved going and the teachers are fantastic. The daycare has recently added infant care so my youngest has been there since he was only 6 months old. The teachers have always treated and loved my children as though they were there own! My kids learned all their numbers, letters and colors before they were enrolled in kindergarden and have done great in school since. This is definately a place your child can feel safe and enjoy their day. The staff have been phenomenal in helping to accomodate my son who has serious food allergies. Their meals are great and the facilities and playground are fabulous! I highly recommend this daycare to anyone who wants their children to be well taken care of and loved! My children attended Precious Child Care & Preschool for 7 years and received outstanding care! My niece and nephew were both in the infant and one year old room at the same time as the twins in the previous post. Both my niece and nephew received excellent care. I never had a problem and my nephew who is definitely high maintenance. On several occasions when I picked them up the twins mom was yelling at the director about her bill and if she didn?t do what she wanted she would post bad reviews. The teachers do speak English and have done a great job. My children and my brother?s children have been very well taken care of. They are loved, nurtured and learning! I don't know if the other person who reviewed this daycare is blind or just oblivious, but we did NOT attend the same daycare. My children attended this daycare in the 1 year old room for 1 month only - and THAT is because the care they received was GROSSLY inadequate. Not only did the teachers change continuously throughout the week, but at least half of them didn't speak ENGLISH!!! I don't know about other parents, but I find it EXTREMELY disturbing that my infants - who were learning to form vocabulary (in ENGLISH) were being cared for by people who didn't even speak their language!!!! I don't have a problem with them learning another language, but that is not what was happening. The teachers couldn't even communicate with me without an interpreter to tell me where my children's things were at the end of the day! Not only that, but my kids, who had NEVER before had an accident report sent home from their last daycare - received 12 between the two of them in a month! One report indicated that my 1 year old fell off of a bookshelf!!!!!!!!!!!! Why was she ON a bookshelf in the first place?? One report even held the name of another child and it took the teachers 20 minutes to figure out if it had indeed been my child or the other child (who had the same first name) who had been hurt. UNACCEPTABLE. I removed my children from this ""Christian"" daycare and vowed to let everyone I know how inadequate they are. Now they are attempting to collect money from me for daycare services for a month my children did not even attend! Parents - keep your kids away from this daycare!
