We Care for Your Cargo:
Precious Cargo creates an environment that nurtures the mental, emotional, and physical well-being of the children in our care. We keep the atmosphere at Precious Cargo one that is peaceful and welcoming. It is important to us to have good rapport with our parents and we work hard to make sure each employee and child is a good fit for our center. Education is a high priority for Precious Cargo Child Care & Learning Center. The curriculum addresses the needs of the preschool children during the day and the school-age children in the late afternoon and evening, aiming for high achievement. The director and state certified teachers employed by Precious Cargo create and deliver the rigorous curriculum ensuring it meets state standards.. Cargo offers the opportunity for children to grow and develop through positive peer interaction. With hours until 9pm,the center also has the advantage of being able to care for children of parents who work later into the evening. Our location is easily accessible by public transportation.
Our children are divided into classrooms by age. This makes a comfortable environment for children to learn and play. Each classroom has age-appropriate toys,puzzles and a variety of developmentally appropriate lessons geared to teach,aid in socialization,and prepare your child for school.
Meals:
Breakfast,Lunch,Snacks,and Dinner are provided for the children based on the hours they attend. All meals are served according to the USDA Child and Adult Food Program to each child regardless of race,color,sex,age,handicap,or national origin at no separate charge to you. Menus are available and posted in each classroom. Special dietary needs of a child must be documented by a physician and kept on file,allowing us to make appropriate substitutions. Please do not hesitate to speak to us concerning your child's dietary needs.
Activities:
We take field trips,arts classes,computer-aided instruction,along with a variety of developmentally appropriate lessons geared to teach and prepare your child for school are included in our program.
Assessments:
Teachers will work daily to assess your child's growth and development.
