I've had pralines in New Orleans (where they originated in the states), and they can't even touch the quality of the pralines produced by Pralines by Leon in Nashville. I know people who make it a point to stop in Nashville when traveling north and south for the sole purpose of picking up some pralines here. \r

This business has been in the same location since 1994 and is busier than ever. And it's more than just pralines, too. Try their creamy caramels that have been dipped in bittersweet dark chocolate and topped with gray sea salt and you'll think you've died and gone to heaven. Everything here is made by hand - no machines, is kosher and gluten-free. \r

From their wide variety of pralines to their caramels and English toffee, and built on traditional family recipes dating back 125 years, you won't find another confectionary like this one. Don't believe me? Ask President George W. Bush. He had their pralines at his first State-of-the-Union Address Dinner. There wasn't one praline left when it was over. \r

Obviously, I'm passionate about this place, but when I find something that's ""the best"" in a category in my opinion, I like to share. We're so lucky to have Pralines by Leon in Nashville!
