I have been to well known cupcake stores all over and was suprised to find this little place that I had never heard of that serves up some of the best cupcakes I have ever had. We tried a lot of pralines in New Orleans and their's were the best! I can only imagine that in a place like New Orleans where there are so many great places to eat, that a little shop like this might go somewhat unnoticed. or maybe New Orleans just likes to keep some of their best places a big secret. Well I hope this gets the word out that Pralines By Jean has terrific cupcakes, moist and crumby with just the right amount of smooth buttercream and cream cheese frostings and pralines that are creamy, full of nuts and delicious! We went looking for pralines and were pleasantly surprised to find that not only do they have the most delicious pralines but they also make incredible cupcakes. With everything being made on site the place also smells incredible. I have never seen a better selection of packaging options for favors and gifts. The people who work there are all so nice and helpful. They ship pralines but not cupcakes. They do deliver to areas around Uptown New Orleans. Apparently they have been there since 2001. I can't believe it has taken this long for us to discover this place.
