Practice Tee the

I was really into golf a few years ago, finding a place that wasn't intimidating was not easy. I just started to learn, my husband used to work in that area so he knew about The Practice Tee. We went there on the weekends to play a 9-hole. They had a lot of novice players there, so if you're not good yet like me, you don't have to worry about a thing, people there won't rush you, take your time. Best of all, if the sun is too hot during the day, go at night, they're open at night too, the only bad thing is that if you lose your ball at night it's hard to find, and you have to deal with the bugs outside at night. Another good thing about this 9-hole course is that you see bunny rabbits all over, they have a few families there. They also have a miniature course for kids and adults to play in. more

The Practice Tee is a fun place to go if you wanna brush up on your golf game. They have a really large driving range, you'd be hard pressed to find the whole driving range full. On those days that its too hot, they have air conditioned covered hangars which sit right behind the range. In addition to teh range, there's a par 3 9hole golf course. I think this could be in better shape, but its still fun to play. Just try to ignore the really hard soil. If you don't feel like playing golf, they also offer batting cages, where they provide the bats and helmet if you don't have your own. THis is a great get-away if you want to hit a few golf balls. Perfect grass, and the driving range is even lit well in the evenings. They offer golf lessons and there is even a few batting cages for the kiddos. My children also like the small 9 hole miniture golf course that is never ever crowded. I highly recommend The Practice Tee in Richardson. more
