I love all of Powell's book stores but this one has grown tremendously and has a lot of books to offer. It has a cafe that serves coffee, desserts and sandwiches. I love the fact that they carry new and used books. I check online until I find a used book I have been wanting. They will take it from any store or the warehouse and have it brought to the store of my choice within a couple of days. I save a lot of money on postage this way. The used books I have bought might have a name on the inside cover, otherwise they look brand new and I save about 1/3rd off of the cover price. If they show wear they are marked much lower. They will also buy many used books if you bring them in. For those outside the area they will send books in the mail.
