Awful. Owner showed up drunk. There is boot prints and gravel all underneath the liner and now he won't fix it unless he gets more money. I believe this is called extortion. more

Horrible. Showed up drunk and did a horrible job. Now wants more money to fix what he screwed up. more

Highly unprofessional company. Took my money and wouldn't complete the job. Drove their truck through my grass, emptied the pool to our new house into our yard to avoid getting permits to drain in the sewer, left over an inch of standing water in the yard where my three children play(stagnant water that had been in the pool for almost two years) and top it all off, their employee urinated in my bushes in my front yard. I now have to get a reputable company to finish the job they left incomplete more

I had some storm damage to my pool and was needing the same to be checked out by a pool person. I called Powell's to find a gentleman on the other line which had a lot of background noise and he immediately told me he was out of town and I would need to call back towards the end of the week. I was a little taken aback by this, but went further to tell him I had a damaged pool and needed someone to check it out for me for damages. He then advised he did not do repairs and hung up. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. First impressions are so important and his impression was lacking to say the least. To have a business to where customers call on a Tuesday to be told to call on Friday as they were out of town. Well, if you want my business you'd have someone answering your phone who is customer oriented. more

I have used Powell Pools now for over 15yrs, I have watched them go through good and bad times. The service has alway been top notched and the personel have been helpful and friendly. They recently had me change to their mineral spring salt water system. The start up was a little expensive, but this will be my third year with the new system and have had nothing but crystal clear water since along with spending less than $200 for the whole year. There is no one I would rather deal with than Vicki Powell. more

Powell Pools is a rip off. They have people that do not care and blame it on the past male employee that embezzled. NOT MY PROBLEM. They sold me products I did not use and I will NEVER use them again. more

A couple of years ago we used this place and had excellent service. Once we returned to this area after living in Virginia for 2 years, we went back expecting the same service. WRONG!!!! The lady who always helped us in prior years was no longer there. So we aske the gentleman working about using Baquacil for our pool, since that is what we had used before, and what we were used to. The guy told us that they didn't use Baquacil anymore and tried selling us some other brand that was supposed to be compariable to Baqucil. It was more than what we thought we should pay so we ended up not purchasing from them. Once we got home, I searched the internet and the local yellow pages and found out that Baquacil is still out there. It really ticked me off that this person would do that to a customer. I know people try to get business, but thats not the way to do it! PROS: CONS: not giving truthful info more
