Powder Ridge is one of the best kept secrets when it comes to skiing locations. Awesome snow, practically no lift lines, new highspeed quad, 7200 acres of skiiable terrain. Absolutely awesome place to book a vacation if skiing is your main objective. Night skiing. New club house/lodge with exercise room, indoor pool, kids pool, jacuzzi, game room, gymnasium with basketball court, pingpong, catering kitchen, ski rentals and mini convenience market with video rentals. This is really the place to go to get away from the high traffic tourist areas. We love Powder Mtn so much that we spent 6 weeks skiing there last year. Will be returning for 4 weeks this year. The staff members of Powder Ridge Village , Cathie, Marchelle, Gavin, Gary, Luanna, Wendy, Tiffany and Shelley, (to name a few) are second to none in the hospitality industry. They welcome you with open arms, great big smiles, and a willingness to make your vacation the best ever. \r

We stop down in Eden on our to the Mountain to buy groceries for the week and don't come back down the mountain until the end of our vacation. Skiing is that Great! Daylight to Dark, we ski. Most Awesome Powder skiing in the world, but the locals don't want the word to get out how great Powder Mountain skiing really is. About an hours drive from Salt Lake International Airport. Be sure to rent a 4 wheel drive vehicle to get around on the mountain. Prepare yourself for a true outback Wilderness skiing adventure like no other. Oh, one last note, take the Snow Cat to Lightening Ridge for unspoiled back bowl skiing.
Pros: Best Powder, Best Staff, No crowds, Ski in Ski out Resort, Spectacular views
Cons: Nearest Restaurants about 20 minutes away (but who cares, the skiing is great).
