I've been a member here for over 10 years. It is over 110 years old. The five original clay courts play perfectly. Lots of friendly people and tennis players. The skill ranges from 2.0-4.5, so there are many people to play with. Two indoor courts for all season play, and plenty of available court time! The clubhouse hosts events for over 250 people and has a dedicated caterer. Nice bar! Olympic swimming pool is gorgeous. more

Good for beginners 9/28/2005

I had previously come here before I started taking clinics at Cross Court. I don't believe that this place is bad but it is just that not as many good players take it here. It is private. I was not getting challenged enough so that is the only reason I switched. I think the Poughkeepsie Tennis Club could be good for beginners though. more
