I think the furnishings available at Pottery Barn Kids are stunning. Really I do. But at the prices? I'll pass- unless I hit the Powerball tomorrow night. They sell toys, curtains, bedspreads... all geared towards the elementary school set- from the days of "Leave It To Beaver." They sell upholstered rocking horses, plaid bedding, big metal decorations spelling out words like "dream." Kids would fall for this store in a heartbeat. I like how everything they sell is still wholesome. No Bratz here! (Well, maybe the stuff is geared towards brats.. forgive my pun.) The style is distinctly Pottery Barn. So are the prices. It's IKEA for my family!
Being that this is Princeton, their store suffers from no lack of business. The clerks were darting around trying to please- but they couldn't handle all the customers on a Friday night. Located inside Market Fair, on Route 1 near Quaker Bridge Mall and Nassau Park Pavillion, this store enjoys a good location, though.
