Potter's House

I have found a few deals in the Potter's house, but more often than not, I leave with nothing. If you really dig, you can find gems, especially in the women's clothing. The children's and men's stuff is very junky, however. Their furniture and other items are overpriced for the quality. The only take cash, so come prepared for that. Overall, it is roomy with plenty of space between the aisles and items are easy to see. It has a very 'warehouse' kind of feel. more

The Potter's House is the place to go when you're feeling lucky and ready to dig for a treasure. I've found that this store is not the cleanest it could be and their prices are really high. They will put out anything, even some items that should have gone in the trash. If you're looking to donate some items, be prepared to just dump them in a big pile. You might do better by donating to a shelter or another thrift shop that might take better care of your stuff so that someone who is truly needy could benefit from it. They do run different specials everydays, but it's the luck of the draw. Also, if you're looking for some furniture to refinish, this is the place I like to check, because they've usually got something pretty ugly that could use some TLC. Staff is nice and are the people that benefit from your purchase. more
