Despite having bought a wonderful dog at Potomac Kennels ten years ago countless stories abound of suspected cruelty and abuse at the puppy mills that Potomac Kennels supposedly buys their puppies from. Do your research first - ask your friends, the AKC or breed associations about Potomac Kennels, Look up "Potomac Kennels puppy mills" on the internet and you will see dozens of allegations against Potomac Kennels. Out of three dogs we looked at one appeared to have serious brain damage, continually running himself into the side of a trash can, biting and clearly unsociable; another was so scared all it could do was shake; and, fortunately the third was perfect...please be careful and do your research first by looking into Potomac Kennels and puppy mills...many people have now warned me against them.
