This is the least crowded luxury mall and theatre for sure. They have an excellent food section with a new ramen place that's worth a try. The movie theatre offers validation even...

top-notch theater 3/20/2007

This is probably my favorite AMC... It was remodeled in the past few years, and it has a decadent, classy feel that most other theaters don't have. It has a wide range of movies playing simultaneously, so you'll always find something that you want to watch. Located in Century City Mall, it's right next to the also re-modeled food court, which has a new, chic look. The ticket booths are inside, and the interior overall is extremely immaculate. more

Fantasic theater!! 11/21/2006

This theater is terrific, with a great food court nearby and in an awesome mall. They sometimes have independent films and occasionally feature limited-run films. The theaters themselves are large and the seating is terrific! They also have parking validation which is great. Pros: validated parking Cons: movies sell out on weekends more

AWESOME mall; difficult-to-navigate parking lot 11/21/2006

I've been here a great many times and since their renovation it's only gotten better. I highly suggest checking out the food court near the movie theater. There's an Italian place in there where you can eat at the counter and is very very good. Their parking lot is one of the most confusing I've ever seen for a mall. You really have to pay attention where you come up or you'll be hunting around for your car for a while. Overall, I love this place and look forward to going back more often once I'm living in the westside again. Pros: variety and quality of the shops and eateries Cons: parking lot more

spotting celebrities 11/13/2006

for an amc which reopened nearly a year ago, this is perhaps one of the better theatres. although it's hard to notice, they've definitely vamped it up with the solid glass entry and the $100k chandlier telling me where the theatres are. it still remains to be a place to bump into celebs. however, with their have special entrances and elevator for a-listers, plus a hospitable sitting lounge, it may not be as frequent. Pros: comfy seats and plenty of concessions Cons: hardly any indie films, armrest don't recline as far as the seat, parking more

I love this MALL!! 10/27/2006

since the renovation this place is amazing. I live really close so ive seen the changes week after week and it just keeps getting better. I love it, my favorite mall in la now more

Fun atmosphere! 10/26/2006

A great place to spend a saturday! Lots of shops, good choice of food in the food court, nice place to walk around being it is outdoors, friendly employees. more

good and bad 9/5/2006

the theater is huge and looks very modern. good sound quality and high stadium seating means there are no bad seats. but parking is a nightmare! it's impossible to figure out where to park to be closest to the theater, and you have to walk through the mall to get to it. more

Westfield's Great Outdoors Mall - Century City 12/2/2005

Century City has a lot to offer, a variety of stores including Macys, Blooingdales. A wonderful market - Gelson's. And the AMC theater. Also, there is a wonderful food court area with a good variety of food to choose from. Tha mall does provide free parking (I can't remember now for how long), if you purchase a theater ticket, you can get your ticket valided and have even a longer amount of time to park. Parking is usually very good at this mall. There are two levels of parking which is a about a block long. If you go to the AMC theaters and you do not want to have to look for parking - try to get there in the morning during the first show before the stores open for the day. Pros: variety of stores, wonderful supermarket, AMC Theater more

Nice and high-end 3/25/2005

Great place on the Westside to shop. Upscale stores, attractive women, great outdoor mall. Parking is usually plentiful - and free for 4 hours which is nice. AMC theaters are also here - but the theaters are small. more

Editorial review from Insider Pages 10/20/2004

This is where I have my yearly eye examine and have ordered my frames. The staff is extremely friendly with great customer service. The doctors are professional and know what they are doing. They offer a large variety of frames to choose from which gives you a lot of options. I love my new frames! There is never a line and they are usually always on time in regards to appointments. more

One-stop shopping 7/8/2002

Century City is the ideal mall for a sunny day. This makes it the ideal mall of Los Angeles. The mall is open so you'll walk in the fresh air as you contemplate heading into Macy's, Bloomingdale's or Banana Republic. Parking is free for three hours, and you don't even need a validation. Best of all: the pretzel store provides a perfect snack. If you time it right, you might pass by right as they're giving away free samples. Pros: Free parking, Great stores more

Cosa Bella 6/4/2002

If I ever win the lottery, I'm outfitting my entire house with Cottura ceramics. In the meantime, I take a good friend's advice and mix and match serving dishes with decorative pieces to satisfy my wants. These items are too beautiful to sit in the cabinets! If you're looking for the atypical wedding gift, or want a few treats to add to your bridal registry, check out their Century City or Newport location. The longer you spend in the store, the more you will uncover. Anything from dishware to decorative plates to coffee mugs to planters...The owners personally select all items from a variety of family owned myolica factories in Italy and a helpful staff is always available to help navigate the waters. Pros: Quality, Quantity more
