Our family has been a Post Alarm client with multiple locations for decades, since the late 1970's. They have installed many systems for us and for our friends and family through our exclusive referal of their service. We have had two major incidents with them that now have caused us to cancel their services. We asked for a bid on an existing system and a new system and they never came up with a plan or bid despite our speaking with our long time rep Bob Jennison, Eventually after our calling multiple times, a man did come and give a bid on one project, but it was very high and the sentiment of long term good feeling was fading. The second incident just culminated with a phone call with Mrs. Lois Post herself. The long relationship apparently means nothing to them since Post threatened to send us to collections and would not service one of our system which was not working. they would not provide service due to not receiving one invoice for a service fee for $142.50 of which that service call did not even solve the problem for the invoice. However, our records show that that invoice was paid through the Bank of America's bill pay system and sent to their address in Arcadia where we had sent bills for years. All other payments had been received, so we were unaware that there was a change in address for this one payment. When just now speaking with Mrs. Post, she did not apologize for the mishap nor try to provide customer service and said that this is protocol and that past history and relationship did not matter and that we should have caught the problem by reading their newsletter. After decades of service and being a loyal customer, we are switching over to Pasadena's Crown Alarm where at least we can have good old fashioned customer service and not be poorly treated or disrespected. We are very sorry to lose this relationship with Post, but they obviously do not care. Never once did Mrs. Post say I am sorry this happened and what can we do to make it right. She just wanted her invoice paid and a $10 late fee.
