I’ve been going to this hair stylist for over a year now and I went to her two days later to complain about a product used in my hair. My hairstylist is very much aware of the skin condition (psoriasis) that I have. She has NEVER sprayed holding spray in my hair knowing that it dries my hair out even more. I didn’t realize that she sprayed it in my hair until the next day. My hair felt like I had lice in it. I called her to tell her about the situation but then I decided to make a trip over there after she appeared to be avoiding the situation. I reached the salon and was explains the problem. I said, “You’ve never sprayed holding spray on my hair before”.\r

She told me she really cant remember what she did. She then said, “I can give you $5 on your next appointment or a deep conditioner.” I looked at her like she had 2 heads. She then said, “What did you want to do?” I replied, ” Well, I thought since it was your mistake…I thought you would have scheduled me an appointment to get my hair done again.” She then said, “I’m sorry I can’t do that! The best thing I can do is give you $5 off your next appointment or a deep conditioner.” I left out of the salon after telling her I will. I was appolled by the way she handled this issue.\r

I have also recommended several people to her too. That was very unprofessional. I got my hair done on a Wednesday and came to her that Friday. I later received a call from my hairstylist on Sunday. She now wanted to fix the problem. What was she really thinking? I went back to get my redo but that is it! I refuse to patronize anyone that will not stand by their work. Whatever happened to ethics, professionalism, morales etc? This problem could have escalated into a court case. That was my next step because she’s licensed.
