Since the birth of our two small children, we have met a handful of photographers. I have to say that Linda has been the most patient and accommodating we have ever met. Our first intention was to have outdoor photos taken of our family. With the unpredictable winter rains, we had to move our session indoors to her studio. At the last minute, I had advised her that my mother and grandmother were going to come too. My grandmother is fairly frail and we knew it may be the last time we take professional pictures with four generations. My daughters are four and a half and the other a little over two. Wrangling the two of them was quite a challenge, but Linda kept her composure throughout the session. We actually had to schedule another time to complete the session. I wasn't sure we had any good pictures to choose from. She showed us a few images from the two shoots, and indeed there were some keepers. My husband and I didn't think we would find it so hard to choose, but in fact we did. There were more than some keepers, there were many! Linda was able to capture candid moments (between tantrums) that were precious and made us laugh. She was very good at using anything we had as props, i.e. Hello Kitty rain boots! We also liked the ability to have all the photos on a CD. During the process, Linda was always available to ask questions about editing pictures, options, and ideas. She has an adaptive and approachable demeanor that puts one at ease, especially through uncomfortable moments (screaming kids!). We would highly recommend Linda - to anyone - for any type of event. We look forward to having more photos taken of the kids... probably in an outdoor setting, where they can run free. We will probably go back to a studio setting... in a few years! Thanks Linda, and we look forward to our next session!
