Excellent service 2/4/2009

I was very impressed by the service I received at this store. My last set of luggage was from Macy's (then Meier & Frank) and I really didn't feel like the salesperson had any idea about what was what. At Portland Luggage the salesperson who helped me really did help me. They had a lot of knowledge about the different lines of luggage and were very patient in allowing me to make a selection. I would definitely go back if I need anything else. Pros: Service, Selection, Validate Parking more

I just recently purchased a new suitcase here and received a very good deal. Look for their coupons for discounts. They have a great variety of travel items, not just luggage. The staff was very helpful. The showroom is very large with many different bags to choose from. Easy to find in downtown. more

Portland luggage likes to play the game of pricing items with a "regular price" that is 2x the normal selling price to create the illusion that its items are on sale. I find this to be pretty insulting. Make sure to do your research on-line to prevent getting hosed by these guys. Service is great fi you like the used car-type buying experience. It will be a good day for Portland when this place finally goes under. i would use this place for repair, but you can definitly find better deals elseware. Great customer service, overwhelmed by selection. 12/1/2006

I received excellent attention here and was really impressed by the selection of gifts, luggage, etc. I ended up buying a new set while I was waiting for my old set to be repaired. I could not imagine going anywhere else for luggage or luggage repair Pros: Selection and service more
