Diamond in the rough. 8/29/2002

I took some friends to Porterhouse after a golf tournament. They were very impressed with both the portion size and the flavor/quality of the meat. For the cost it is much more favorable than any of the other steak houses. For the price you actually get a meal, with a steak that is the same size or larger than Mortons, Ruths Chris or Mannys. The atmosphere is wonderful and you don't feel out of place dressed down or up. Don't let the exterior fool you. Porterhouse is a diamond in the rough. Pros: Excellant value, Wonderful taste, Tender steaks Cons: Run out of Specials, A little loud more

Quality Sliding... 8/11/2002

Very sorry to say that the quality of this resturant has gone dramatically down hill over the last 6 months. They have lost the ability to properly cook steaks by making the excuse that ""our cook is new."" How many times can a man's meal be ruined? Too many in a row. I'll be going elsewhere. more

Excellent Value! 7/26/2002

Porterhouse is a wonderful restaurant! It isn't a ""super-steakhouse"" like Manny's, but the food quality is just as good and the price is significantly less. The service is impeccable, and the atmosphere is better than the ""super-steakhouses"" in town. I have been there three times, and I love it. more
