We sat in the upstairs dining room, which with the piano player and high ceilings was a little noisy. That is literally my only complaint. Our very personable waitress recommended a 3 or 4 course dinner and we did 4. Course after course we were blown away by the interesting recipes and fresh ingredients.
The owner stopped by the table to see how we were doing and we explained how happy we were to not have to go to Baltimore or New York for great Italian. He was so happy with our praise he bought us a bottle of nice Champagne! I've never had that happen and it definitely left an impression. We will be back many, many times.
Pros: great food, nice ambiance
Cons: a little noisy upstairs
