Awesome Cafe and great Coffe Too 8/27/2005

As an avid coffee drinker, I often seek out Coffee Houses or Cafes to sample coffee. In going to TJ Maxx one day I discovered Port City Java. When I frequent these places I don't usually run into a large number of Black Americans. As a Christian Black American woman, I was pleased to discover that this establishment is owned and operated by two Black American women who are sisters. On Wednesday nights a christian book study is held and there is even a christian book store on the inside of the cafe. The food there is delicious as well as the coffee. The staff is friendly and helpful and this place has a down home feel. The sisters there employ all races in their establishment. Very nice people more

Great spot for coffee and a snack. 8/20/2005

Port City Java is a great spot to take a break from shopping and have a snack and a great cup of coffee. They have a good selection of coffees, snacks, and sandwiches. The staff are very friendly, the decor is cute, and it is in a very convenient location, close to Marshals, TJ Max, Petco, Barefeet shoes, and all of the Deptford shopping areas. The sandwiches and salads are really good and it's a lot quieter than the food court at the Mall. I highly recommend Port City Java! more
