I'm a sucker for the fried chicken night at Watershed, the Sunday Supper at JCT or Eugene, and the nostalgic fried chicken at the Busy Bee. But to perfectly honest... my favorite fried chicken in Atlanta (or anywhere), is Popeye's. I have no clue how they do it. It's crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Even the white meat is just perfectly moist. And somehow they manage to spice the bird UNDER the skin (*always order it spicy*) so that way your lips don't catch fire but the spice sort of hits ya on the back end.
I know people rave about their red beans and rice, but I've been persuaded by their cajun fries and stick with that. Crispy, seasoned, perfection. My only complaint is their biscuits. Considering the fact they have ""biscuits"" in the name... you'd think they'd be a little better. They get a star knocked off for that.
Pros: Righteous fried chicken
Cons: Bad biscuits
