Chicken with a spicy kick 6/20/2006

Popeye's is where you go for fried chicken with a spicy kick. The spice is a good change from the average fried chicken. Their sides are good too, especially their mashed potatoes and french fries. I like that this location has a drive thru because I find the restaurant is always kind of unkempt and not pleasant to eat at. I feel much better just picking it up and taking it home. more

Cajun Style Chicken 6/20/2006

I'm not a big fan of spicey foods so I order their mild chicken once in a while and it taste the similiar to KFC (origional) chicken. What I like more than Popeye's chicken is their sides. I really enjoy their cole slaw , mashed potatos, and biscuts. I think all their stores have drive thrus which is fine with me. Their prices are very reasonable and each time I have purchased food from them the service was very good. more

Popeye's is a good place to try if you can't find a Kentucky Fried Chicken in the area. The food here is almost identical, except for the fact that Popeye's also serves a great fried catfish meal. The fried chicken though is not much different from KFC. The biscuits though are perfection and come second to none! If nothing else, just stop in here and pick up a couple of biscuits and you'll see what I'm talking about! more
