After never using a locksmith, I needed the service twice in one week. Searched long on line and didn't find any services that looked reputable (or had independent, unbiased reviews). Finally tried pop-a-lock. The first call was to replace a door lock where someone tried, unsuccessfully, to get into my son's car with a screwdriver. The technician replaced it in about 20 minutes. $60 for the service call, $70 for the repair. The next visit was for a simple keys locked in car - they arrived in 20 minutes, open in 5 minutes, and $79. Not cheap, but considering there were few alternatives, I considered it worth it.
