I live in Sacramento and heard about Poor Honey's from some friends who live in the Bay. When I was visiting them this last weekend, they took me to see the store. The place is great, the prices are so unbelieveably cheap! I can't wait till next weekend to go back again. Wendy and Eric, the owners of the store, are such cool people, really!! Best I Ever Had 3/23/2010

I've been going to Poor Honey's since they first opened which was when I first ever moved to Oakland in 07 and now I am a faithful customer. I go there for absolutly every piece of furniture I need. more

My home office look great!! 11/12/2008

I just couldn't believe that I was able to find two wonderful Retro Ethan Allen furniture pieces this was just the flare that I was looking for, I would highly recommend Poor Honey's to any one who's looking for quality at an affordable price. more

One of those hard to find "sleepers" in Oakland! 11/4/2008

Furniture is so expensive these days . . . but not at "Poor Honey's"! Everything looks brand new, but the prices are fantastic. And there's so much to choose from. Whatever your taste in home decor is, you can probably find something you'll like! And they deliver, too. This is one of those "sleepers" that you look for! more

When ever we're up there... 11/2/2008

We are from SOCA, and were turned on to Poor Honey's thru family members.\r My mom's living room looks like a show room because of P H'S.\r We were able to purchase a few smaller items to bring back down south, and they look great in our place.\r H & P more

Great Place to get quality used furniture! 10/8/2008

Poor Honey's Jewel of a find 8/11/2008

I love this store! They have a great selection of furniture at fantastic prices. I have purchased several pieces from them and they look great in my home. The quality is awesome for used furniture - it looks like new. I get compliments from friends and family all the time. I tell them to go check out the store for themselves because the furniture is great and so is the service. They are extremely helpful and friendly too. I also love that they have new items all the time. Keeps me coming back. If you like great furniture at bargain prices you definitely should check this store. more

Poor Honey's is one of the best used furniture stores I've seen in a long time. They've got a great selection and anybody can afford their prices! The people that work there are totally cool and really help you get what you need. I'd recommend this place to anyone looking for nice stuff at a good deal!!! more

Great place to shop.... 12/6/2007

My boyfriend and I just moved to the area and needed everything for our new apartment. We happened to be driving along when we came across Poor Honey's used furniture. Not only did they have a great selection of furniture for every room, but when we didn't have quite enough money to get everything we wanted, they actually lowered the prices so we could get what we wanted. Unbelievable! The service was great and they even delivered it for us. I'd recommend this place to anyone. The prices are by far better than any used furniture store we found. including Salvation Army and Good Will. more
