We bought equipment from Pools Unlimited in December 2013: a truck camper.\r
The camper seemed in good condition. I asked Randy whether the camper had water damage or rot. His answer was no. He said that he recently caulked the camper to keep out water. As a newbie RV buyer, I took his word and inspected the camper to the best if my knowledge and experience.\r
\r
Once we took it home, I immediately noticed issues with the camper.\r
The floor under the mattress is sagging badly and one of the sidewalls is loose with rotted wood behind it and completely rusted screws. Not a good combination: rusted screws in rotted wood.\r
Upon further inspection I realized that the carpeting in the camper had recently been changed. Underneath the carpet? Yes, more rot. Inside the cabinets next to the bed? Mold.\r
\r
We basically spent $6,000 on a camper that is as good as worthless, by trusting Randy's word.\r
\r
Buyer beware. Yes, ultimately it's our fault.\r
But I believe that a man is only as good as his word.\r
\r
Can I prove on paper that he cheated us out if $6,000? No.\r
Do I remember asking him about rot and water damage? Yes.\r
\r
Upon contacting Randy, his answer via txt message: ""all sales are final!""\r
\r
Thanks Randy! Another happy customer. Good to read on your site that you are dedicated to service after the sale!\r
