This was my first time to Vespa, and I was excited to go after driving by it thousands of times. I found the menu to be short but terrific with a nice variety of options (from shell steak to lobster and black linguine to basic pasta dishes). The food itself was prepared well and was extremely flavorful, even a simple shrimp appetizer (that was a little small but the flavor made up for this). The bread was okay, though the crust was a little too crunchy, but the wine was good (decent wine list). \r

It did however take a while for our waiter to come over and I had to ask for a wine menu. I found that people who looked like they could be our waiter would sort of walk by and look at our table but look away when I looked up at them (which I was doing to signal that we were ready to order). This happened at least twice. I think that one of the hosts may just have a nervous personality, which was why he had that look about him that another reviewer described. If they could somehow improve their service, I would go back. Otherwise, I'll probably skip it in favor of another place I have yet to try.
Pros: Food, Wine, Ambience
Cons: Parking, Service
