I went to get my hair highlighted by Stacia and will never--ever--go back. For someone with naturally light brown hair, I came out looking like I'd just used a bottle of hair bleach in a do-it-yourself-project. The highlighted sections were wholly uneven, sloppy, and many of them started a good 1/2"" away from my scalp, due in large part to her method of applying the foils. She actually used a board, rammed against my skull, in order to place the foils; I've since been told by a high-end SF Bay Area salon, whom I've been seeing for months in order to fix what Stacia did to my hair, that this was a very ""old school"" method. I've literally had about six subsequent hair appointments at a trusted and well-respected salon, and there's still a very noticeable line as my hair grows out--it goes from brown to bleached, despite the subsequent highlights and lowlights. I'm really, really sorry that I experimented with Pomegranate Salon. They might pass muster by small town standards, but in my opinion Stacia's skills didn't hold a candle to the better salons I'd been accustomed to.
Pros: It's a salon in a smallish town
Cons: Pricey for a lack of skill and poor demeanor
